Beau spent the majority of his life in Southern California, but is now enjoying his 8th year in the Pacific Northwest.
While he has spent most of his career working in the life & health benefits industry, he is also interested in transferring his skills into another industry where he can contribute to an entity's success.
What skills does he bring to your efforts?
- Instinctive analytical ability...able to review almost any kind of data, information, process or physical setup and see the relationships between the items in oder to reorganize them into more efficient and/or functional applications.
- True leadership practices...I understand that managing subordinates is more than just assigning work and following-up once in a while. I know how to vary my management style according to the person, project and presenting situation. I know how important it is to groom others to make them more valuable to the company. I understand how to apply relationship management to internal and external customers in order to convert them into "partners" in producing the product.
- Communications...I believe that 80% of everything we do is communication in one way or another. I self-monitor my own communication style constantly to ensure that I am being understood. I take pride in my ability to take highly complex topics and repackage their constituent components when sharing the information with various levels of audiences.
- Multiple perspectives...I am capable of drudging through all the muck of detailed information, then fly up to the "30,000-foot" level and see how everything fits into the bigger picture. I have been able to grasp multiple (and sometimes conflicting) perspectives from different customers/partners and successfully represent all of them in projects, programs and policy.
